Sokoto State Commissioner of Science and Technology Kulu Haruna has resigned her appointment.
In a resignation letter addressed to Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and copied the Secretary to the State Government, she said she was resigning on personal grounds.
The letter reads,”I write to resign from my appointment as the member of the Sokoto State Executive Council on personal grounds, with effect from 23 January, 2023.
“In this respect, I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to you for the opportunity given to me to serve in that capacity as Commissioner for Science and Technology, Sokoto State.”
However, three days after the resignation, her picture with Tinubu and the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko appeared on social media platforms, confirming the rumour making the rounds that she joined APC.
The Special Assistant to Wamakko on Publicity, Bashar Abubakar, confirmed that the now former commissioner was appointed to serve as Director of Voters’s Education for Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council.
