We are delighted to that Mr President graciously found him worthy of this appointment. In the same breath we appreciate the gesture of the Senate, particularly the Committee on Interior led by Senator Kashim Shettima, which panel found Mr Nababa suitable to hold the position.

Tambuwal in a statement he personally signed expressed delight at President Buhari’s selection of Nababa and the subsequent confirmation by the Senate.

As a result, on behalf of the government and the good people of Sokoto State, I hereby congratulate Mr Nababa and urge him to continue to be the good ambassador of the State, which he has been from day one he joined the service.

No doubt, Mr Nababa has made the State proud as his screening by the Senate came through without any petition.

We wish him boundless success in the discharge of his duties. Equally, we are poised to give him any support and encouragement he may require to deliver on his mandate.

A graduate of History from Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto, Mr Nababa, who rose through the ranks as a competent officer, is also a thoroughbred professional with an unblemished record of service in the NCS.
