The Super Eagles provisional squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations has been leaked.
According to a report in ACL Sports, head coach Jose Peseiro listed 40 players on the provisional list.
Among the new additions on the list are goalkeepers, Stanley Nwabili and Christian Nwoke; and midfielder Alhassan Yusuf
Peseiro will have to trim down the list to 27 players by 3rd January 2024.
The Super Eagles are drawn in Group A with hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
The three-time champions’ opening fixture is against Equatorial Guinea at the Alhassan Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on 14th January.
