Sokoto State Commissioner for Security, Colonel Garba Moyi (rtd) has joined All Progressives Congress (APC).
He was one of the commissioners recently sworn in by Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
Mr Moyi was the immediate past Commissioner for Careers and Security Matters.
He was reappointed after failing to secure a senatorial ticket for Sokoto East zone under the platform of PDP.
In an interview, Mr Moyi disclosed that he decided to leave his former party over injustice, betrayal and lies.
The commissioner was received into APC by it’s leader in the state, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko this night at his Gawon Nama residence.
Earlier, the chairman of Tangaza local government and close associate of Governor Tambuwal, Isa Kalenjeni, and six councilors also resigned their membership of the PDP.
