The former Nigerian Ambassador to Jordan and Iran, Faruk Malami Yabo, has dumped APC for PDP.
Yabo was a one time Commissioner of Finance and Local governments in Sokoto state.
He was also an aspirant to the governorship ticket of APC.
Announcing his defection at tbe PDP rally in Yabo local government area on Wednesday, Yabo described his defection as a “homecoming”.
According to him, he has always been a member of the ruling party in the state.
“I thank everyone who is part of this movement and I promise to help the party win the forthcoming elections in the state,” he said.
Commenting on his defection, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal commended the former Ambassador for taking a bold decision in the interest of the people of Sokoto State.
