Chairman of the independent National Electoral commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, has said that sensitive election materials will no longer be kept at the Central bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The INEC Chairman who disclosed this while responding to questions in an ongoing dialogue on Elections in Abuja said starting with Ekiti state Governorship election in June , sensitive materials will not be stored at the CBN.
According to him, the decision is to guarantee that electoral materials for the lined up Elections are not compromised.
