Popular oil mogul and politician from Anambra State , Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is dead.
He was said to have passed on in London.
Ubah, who joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, a few months ago, was billed to seek the party’s ticket ahead of the Anambra State governorship election.
The cause of his death is yet to be confirmed.
But a source claimed he made a monetary donation to the Anambra APC two days ago.
Meanwhile his death has been confirmed by former lawmaker, Ben Murray-Bruce.
Murray-Bruce in a post on X paid tribute to the late Anambra lawmaker.
He wrote: “With a heavy heart, I extend my deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
“His contributions to our nation, both in the oil sector and public service, will never be forgotten.
“May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength during this difficult time.”
This is coming just few days after the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu passed on.
