Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel on Thursday played host to the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state at the Executive Council Chamber, Government House, Uyo.
Prince Secondus and Governor Mohammed were in Akwa Ibom to condole with the government and people of the state on the death of four prominent indigenes of the state who died recently.
Recall that in the past few weeks, Akwa Ibom state has lost four prominent indigenes including, the first indigenous military Governor, and Chairman of PANDEF, Air Commodore Idongesit Nkanga (Rtd); former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Nsikak Eduok (Rtd); State PDP Chairman, Obong Hon. Udo Ekpenyong and immediate past Commissioner for Lands, Arc. Ime Ekpo.
