Lagos State Governor , Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of 17 Permanent Secretaries in the State Public Service.

The appointments take effect immediately, according to a statement by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola.

The Head of Service explained that the appointments were made after a rigorous screening, which spanned over two months, culminating in Mr. Governor’s one-on-one interview of the shortlisted candidates.

He expressed confidence that the appointees possess the qualities, competence and experience required to serve as Permanent Secretaries in the Lagos State Public Service.

The appointees and their previous deployments are: Dr. Mustafa, Ibrahim Akinwunmi- Consultant Special, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

Ayoola Iyabo Oyeyemi- Directors, Projects Financial Mgt. Unit, State Treasury Office

Hundogan Sewanu Temitope- Director, Finance & Accounts, State Treasury Office

Engr. (Mrs) Kosegbe Abiola – General Manager, Lagos State Building Control Agency

Onayele Augustine Abiodun- Secretary, Lagos State Scholarship Board

Adedoyin- Ajayi Adenike – Head, Branding One Stop Shop (Citizens Gate, Service Charter &EODB), OTCI

Sangowanwa Olutomi Ajose- Surveyor-General, Office of the State Surveyor-General

Oduguwa Olusola- Director, Central Internal Audit, Office of the Chief of Staff

Olajide Charles Adeboye- Principal, Lagos Baptist Senior College, Orile Agege

Machado- Onanuga Toyin Olamide-Director, Public Service Standard & Performance Directorate, PSO

Gaji, Omobolaji Tajudeen- Director, Physiotherapy Services, Health Service Commission

Olowoshago Kamar Owodiran – Director, Home Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs

Simone Olayinka Fashola – Director, Admin/Human Resource, Office of Education Quality Assurance

Dana Mobolaji Mojisola- Director, Admin/Human Resource, Public Service Office

Oshodi Salimot Tolani- Director, Admin/Human Resource, Lands Bureau

Kasali Adeniran Waheed – Head of Training, Public Service Staff Development Centre

A statement by the state Commissioner for information,Gbenga Omotoso said the deployment posts of the appointees will be announced “in due course”.
