Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly loyal to Governor Siminalayi Fubara, have invited for screening eight commissioner nominees.
The invitation was contained in a statement issued by the Clerk of the house, G.M. Gillis-West, Clerk dated Monday May 20.
The nominees invited are; Hon. Prince Charles O. Bekee, Mr. Collins N. Onunwo, Hon. Solomon Eke, Sir. Dr. Peter N. Medee
and Hon. Elloka Tasie Amadi.
Others are Hon. Basoene Joshua Benibo, Mr. Tambari Sydney Gbara, and Dr. Ovy Orluideye Chinendum Chukwuma.
The screening date of the screening is scheduled for today, Tuesday, 21 May, 2024 at the Hallowed Chamber, Rivers State House of Assembly, Auditorium, Admin. Block, Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt.
The nominees are to come along with twelve (12) sets of their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and, the originals and photocopies of their credentials.
When screened and confirmed, they will replace the nine allies of Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory Minister and former Governor of Rivers State.
