Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the National Assembly, has addressed the widely circulated document alleging that his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels, tested positive for multiple substances.
The viral report, purportedly issued by Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja and attributed to its Managing Director, Dr. Adekunle Adesina, claimed that the actress had been undergoing a detoxification programme between September 9 and October 15, 2025.
It also alleged that the hospital’s psychological emergency unit was called to Nwoko’s residence on September 23 after Daniels had reportedly gone 48 hours without sleep and was said to be displaying signs of aggression.
According to the disputed document, Daniels exhibited agitation, verbal aggression and an inconsistent emotional state, and was allegedly struggling to make progress due to continued access to psychoactive substances.
However, Serenity Royale Hospital has denied being the source of the leaked report. In a statement released through its Instagram page, the facility insisted that the document did not originate from them and reaffirmed their commitment to strict patient confidentiality.
Responding on Saturday, Senator Nwoko noted that the hospital did not specifically deny authoring the document but only clarified that it was not responsible for its circulation. He further stated that Daniels’ recent actions, in his view, do not reflect a stable frame of mind and suggested she may be vulnerable to individuals seeking to take advantage of her.
Nwoko emphasised that his primary concern is her well-being, recovery, and continued presence in the lives of their children.
