Kashim Shettima is currently trending on Twitter over the outfit he wore to the NBA Colloquium today, August 22, in Lagos State.
The vice-presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, represented the Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
For the event, Shettima, who regularly wears native attires, wore a loose suit and paired it with a pair of sneakers, a combination Nigerians found fault with.
While many slammed his stylist, others questioned why the presidential candidates for other political parties were present while Tinubu sent his vice presidential candidate.
A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri speaking on the outfit wrote.
“This is Tinubu’s running mate at the NBA conference today. Look at his feet.
” Who in his right mind wears a suit and tie, and then puts on a pair of gym shoes to a conference?
” If Shettima does not know how to dress himself, how can he address Nigeria’s challenges?”
Another twitter user, Nedu said, “Forget about the carpenter-made coat he’s wearing and the weird shoe combo. But boss was talking about anger management abi? Shettima is always angry.”
