Some residents of Rivers State on Friday took to the streets of Port Harcourt to protest the CBN monetary policy and the scarcity of the naira notes.
The Protest erupted around Mile 1, Mile 3, Diobu axis of Ikwerre road, Port Harcourt.
The protest turned violent ,as hoodlums took over by forcefully dispossessing people of their property.
Shops were also burgled and the windshields of cars along the streets were smashed.
