Political thugs attacked Labour Party supporters who were waiting at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos for the arrival of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate.
Peter Obi visited Alaba, Lagos, today, Feb. 11, after which he headed towards TBS where supporters were waiting for him.
However, many Labour Party supporters making their way to TBS were attacked by political thugs wielding machetes and other harmful objects.
Their cars were also destroyed with stones.
Trending videos showed attacked supporters being given first aid treatment before being transported to the hospital for medical care.
While speaking, some supporters narrated how cars were vandalized and how supporters were attacked, with some receiving cuts to the head and fingers.

Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has condemned the incident, describing it as deeply troubling and urging security agencies and Lagos State Government to collaborate towards fishing out the perpetrators of the act.
