Police Officers from Force Headquarters in Abuja on Friday stormed the Lagos residence of media personality and activist, Agba Jalingo.
Jalingo confirmed that his Alapere residence was surrounded by police officers at about 04.23pm holding down his wife and daughter according to Channels.
He said; “Policemen just surrounded my house. About three to four of them.
” I don’t know who sent them and I am worried.
“They held my wife and my daughter down. They are asking for me.”
Divisional Police Officer of Alapere police station, Awe Kayode who confirmed the development, said the officers at the activist’s residence were sent from the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Kayode said; “I am aware. He should join them and come to my office.
“The men are from Abuja but they will first come to my office.
“They booked at the Command and the Command referred them here. When they come, we will then ask.”
Lagos police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin also said;
“The men are from Abuja; they are not from Lagos State Police Command.”
