Two suspected thieves, John Francis and Godsent Orogun have been arrested along the Warri/Sapele road by Okwuovo, Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.
They were arrested by operatives of the Dragon Patrol team on routine stop and search duty.
While 26yrs old John is from Uru-Ughelli Street Agbarho, 25years old Godsent is of No. 18 Ovwiagba all in Delta State.
The spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed their arrest said the suspects are in Custody and investigation is ongoing.
He said 1 iPhone, 1 Infinix phone and 1 Nokia torch phone were also recovered from the suspects.
The suspects were arrested after the Police intercepted a Daylong motorcycle with Reg. No. Delta UGH 353 VQ carrying two male occupants(suspects).
Also two suspects who allegedly specializes in defrauding unsuspecting POS operators by generating fake alerts thereby defrauding them have also been arrested.
The suspects are identified as Ofemu Obus (23) and Henry Ekpu (28).
The Police spokesperson who confirmed their arrest said the suspects are in custody and investigation is ongoing.
