The presidential candidate of the Labour Party(LP) in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi says he has resumed public engagements following a brief medical rest.
Recall that the former Anambra governor had disclosed via his social media accounts last week Saturday that he was feeling unwell during an engagement.
“Earlier in Enugu, I was not feeling well. I visited the hospital where the doctor gave me some medication and advised me to take a day or two days rest.
In obedience to the doctor’s advice, I will not be able to meet up with all my scheduled engagements within and outside the country this weekend,” Peter Obi wrote.
The former Anambra State governor in a post on Tuesday announced that he had returned to work and honoured a promise to visit a small business.
He wrote; “I resumed my many engagements yesterday, and I started by honouring a promise to visit an SME business owned by someone I met during the course of my activities, and I was truly delighted to listen to the owner.”
