The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Sheriff Oborevwori as the winner of March 18, 2023, Governorship elections.
Oborevwori polled 360, 234 polled to dust Ovie Omo-Agege of the APC, who scored 240, 229 and the LP Candidate,Ken Pela polled 48,047.
Delta INEC Returning Officer, Prof Georgewill Owuneri Abraham, announced the result at the INEC headquarters in Asaba on Monday.
Abraham said, “The PDP candidate, having met the requirement of the law, is hereby declared the winner and returned as Governor-elect.”
