The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 37 members’ zoning meeting has failed to reach an acceptable outcome and therefore adjourned to Tuesday next week.
The meeting which held at the Benue State Government Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja lasted for over three hours.
Addressing journalists after the meeting that lasted for about three hours, the chairman of the committee and Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, said the committee will come out with an acceptable position for all the members.
He said the meeting was peaceful without any tension.
“The meeting is yet to be concluded. We have adjourned till Tuesday next week at the same time, same venue. And until we conclude the proceedings, there is not much to say. So far, all the members are quite understanding. There wasn’t any form of tension,” He said.
