The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party PDP has approved the composition of a Caretaker Committee to run the affairs of the Osun State Chapter of the Party.
The seven man committee has Dr. Adekunle Akindele as its chairman with Otunba Femi Carena as the secretary.
Other members of the committee are; Barr. Niyi Owolade, Chief Mrs. Ayo Awolowo, Dr. B.T. Salami, Engr. Adetoye Ogunboyega, Alh. Razaq Oyelani.
A Statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagaba said the move followed the expiration of the tenure of the State Executive Committee of Osun State Chapter.
The statement read in part; “The Osun Caretaker Committee is to manage the affairs of the Party in Osun State from Friday, April 8, 2022 for a period not exceeding 90 days (3 months) or till such a time a new State Executive Committee will be elected in the State.”
