Ahead of the October 10 Governorship election in Ondo State,the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP has appointed Oyo State Governor,Seyi Makinde as the Chairman of the National Campaign Council of the party.
This was contained in a notice released by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, on Wednesday in Abuja.
The 145 Member Campaign Council has Zamfara State Governor,Bello Matawalle as deputy Chairman ,while the National Financial Secretary of the party, Alhaji Abdullahi Maibashira, was appointed Assistant Secretary of the council.

The committee will be inaugurated on Friday,August 28 in Abuja.
