Oyo State Government says thirty seven COVID19 patients have again been discharged from the state Isolation Centers after treatment and second Negative test result.
The State Governor and Chairman of the State COVID19 Taskforce,Seyi Makinde who announced this in Ibadan said this brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 1183.
The Governor also announced that confirmation tests for twenty-nine suspected cases of cases also came back POSITIVE.
The breakdown of the cases are as follows; Ido (8), Akinyele (5), Egbeda (3), Ibadan South East (3), Ibadan North (2), Lagelu (2), Oluyole (2), Ona Ara (2), Ibadan North West (1) and Ibadan South West (1) Local Government Areas.
He noted that the 29 new cases in the state brings the total number of confirmed cases in the State to 2599.
The Governor however implored people in the state to continue to observe all laid down protocol at reducing the spread of Coronavirus.
