Oyo State Governor,Seyi Makinde said 1,441 COVID-19 patients have been successfully treated and discharged from the state isolation centers.
The Governor who is also the chairman of the state COVID19 Task force announced this while giving an update in the state.
According to the Governor as at August 9th,The State has recorded a total of 2,868 confirmed cases of COVID19.
The Governor also announced the confirmation of positive test results for eight suspected cases even as 22 tested negative and have been discharged.

The confirmed cases were reported in six local governments .
They are from Akinyele (2), Egbeda (2), Ibadan North (1), Lagelu (1), Ibadan South West (1) & Ibadan South East (1) LGAs.
