Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.

Governor Oyebanji, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, described Vice President Shettima as an eminent statesman in the Nigerian project.

The Governor hailed Vice President Shettima for being a diligent bridge builder, and a national leader who is at home in every part of the country and who is always ready to identify with all Nigerians irrespective of their ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.

According to him, Vice President Shettima is a detribalised Nigerian, a patriot, a nationalist and a loyal servant of the people imbued with diplomatic skills to support the President in managing a complex country like Nigeria.

The Ekiti helmsman also hailed the Vice President for being a loyal deputy to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and for adding value to governance at the federal level with the experience garnered over the years.

While congratulating Vice President Shettima on his 58th birthday, Governor Oyebanji urged him to continue to give his best in his service to the Nigerian people.

He prayed God to grant Vice President Shettima long life, sound health and wisdom to discharge his duties and offer more service to his fatheland.

“On behalf of my family, the Government and good people of Ekiti State, we wish our Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima a happy birthday and pray that God grants him many more years in good health and endless joy”, the Governor added.
