The coalition of Members-elect from Parties other than the ruling All Progressive Congress Party continue to put their weight behind the aspiration of Biu-born Legislator and current Chair, House Committee on Appropriation to lead the 10th House of Representatives.
Pledging their unflinching support, the group spokesperson, PDP Member-elect, Peter Akpanke said that the non-APC legislators have the number as the “greater majority in minority”, one that the ruling Party can’t afford to ignore.
He reinstated the group’s conviction about Rt. Hon. Muktar Betara Aliyu’s character, competence, capacity et al.
Hon. Akpanke believes the Members-elect would need their opposition Members for a smooth, progressive and effective 10th House of Representatives.
