Ondo Police command has urged members of the public to disregard rumor of a planned attack by terrorists in Ilara Mokin community.
Rumors are circulating about a purported letter to the radio station by a terror group.
The command on Thursday said the “information is false and misleading with intent to create unnecessary panic in Ilara Mokin and it’s environs.”
“Kindly disregard the rumour that terrorist wrote to Ilara Mokin via Adaba88.9 FM on their intention to attack the community.
“The Information is False and misleading with intent to create unnecessary panic in Ilara Mokin and it’s environs.
“This false information has been debunked by the Management of Adaba88.9 FM and the peddlers of this Negative story are warned to desist.
” The Commissioner of Police CP OYEYEMI ADESOYE OYEDIRAN, psc, fsi has assured the people of adequate protection within Ondo State”
