The principal of Auga Community Grammar School in Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State, Joshua Adeyemi who was kidnapped along with his Vice, Ifedayo Yesufu, and two teachers of the school have regained their freedom.
They were released after spending five days in the kidnappers’ den.
It could not be ascertained if the families of the victims paid ransom before their release.
Initially, the five teachers on the trip were kidnapped by armed men while travelling along the Auga/Ise road, but one of them, who was pregnant, was said to have been released the same day due to her condition.

The spokesperson of Ondo State Police Command, DSP Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed their release on Monday.
Odunlami disclosed that the victims were released at Imoga community, close to Ibilo in Akoko Edo Local Government Area of Edo State.
According to her, the victims are in good condition and have since reunited with their families.
