Kaduna Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Idris Yahya Adah, on Friday, warned criminals in the state to desist from their evil act or face immediate punishment.
Adah gave this warning while parading six criminals who specialized in vandalizing cables, street lights, solar panels, transformers and other government facilities in the state.
He said the suspects are Murtala Mohammed Musa, Abubakar Bala, Suleiman Abubakar, Aliyu Sani and Abubakar Abdullahi.
According to him, officers and men of the command got hint of the criminals’ activities while on routine patrol and immediately swung into action, arresting six, while others are on the run.
Commandant Adah said the officers are currently combing every nooks and crannies of the state to arrest the remaining criminals
According to him, the suspected criminals have confessed to have stolen the items, adding that they would be charged to court as soon as investigations are completed.
