Nollywood actress Shan George has raised an alarm after she was defrauded of her life savings worth N3.6 million.
The said amount was mysteriously withdrawn from her Zenith bank account into one Cecilia Chisgozie Okoro’s Opay account.
In a video on Friday, May 3, 2023, the actress called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigeria Police Force for assistance in recovering her money.
Expressing her distress, Shan George stated,
“Cecilia Chibuzie Okoro, that’s the name of the person that just wiped out all the money in my account, N3.6 million into an OPAY account.
” I am imploring everybody, Zenith Bank, OPAY, please assist me, I beg of you in the name of God. I have no funds left, and my family has nothing to eat.”
George also accompanied the post with a screenshot of the transaction details showing the depletion of her account balance.
