She said “I was talking to those who were tarnishing my image on Twitter because I decided to stay neutral 😐 I love all housemate equally, and everyone knows I’m a thankful person 👱 your narrative will never change my personality😌”.

“for those who already knew that the clip was edited short without any shalaye thank you for knowing me🙏❤️” she added.

Her response seems not to be calming the waters as many of her fans still expressed their disappointment, calling  her arrogant.

Many advised her to forget about explanation and apologise for her choice of words in the video.

..you can't keep saying they are misquoting you, especially on a video that every one can see ur tone, aggression and choice of words! Train yourself to stay away from your phone when you're angry!
People made celebrity, people can bring them down! It has nothing to do with God!

Mercy you would have rather said it im a calm way.. make them understand in calm way without calling them useless n jobless n lazy m stuff like that..no matter if they are ur fans or not..it was not correct you need to apologise

Recalled that Mercy in a video said she had not been supporting any of the current housemates because she did not have time to sit and watch the show.

Mercy came under attack for saying she was too busy to watch the reality show that made her.

According to them, she would not have won the grand prize if not for the fans who watched and voted for her while she was in the house.
