The Nigerian Army has revealed the identities of soldiers and officers who were murdered by suspected militias in Delta State last week.
Recall that at least 17 soldiers of 181 Amphibious Battalion of the NA, who were on a peaceful and mediatory mission in Okuama and Okoloba Communities in Ughelli South and Bomadi LGAs of Delta State were murdered by armed gang in the communities.
Subsequently, the Nigerian Army Headquarters on Monday reveal details of the slain soldiers in social media.
According to the post, Commanding Officer, 181 Amphibious Battalion, Nigerian Army, LT Col Ah Ali, was also killed by the criminal elements.
The officers are; LT Col Ah Ali, Major SD Shafa, Major De Obi and Capt U Zakari.
The 12 soldiers are identified as; SSgt Yahaya Saidu, Cpl Yahaya Danbaba, Cpl Kabir Bashir, LCpl Bulus Haruna, LCpl Sole Opeyemi, Lcpl Bello Anas, LCpl Hamman Peter and LCpl Ibrahim Abdullahi.
Others are; Pte Alhaji Isah, Pte Clement Francis, Pte Abubakar Ali, Pte Ibrahim Adamu and Pte Adamu Ibrahim.
