Niger State Government has demolished twin flats belonging to a suspected kidnapper in Yikangbe, a suburb of Minna, the state capital.
One of the flats was said to have been occupied by the suspect and his family members while the other flat was yet to be completed.
The suspect reportedly confessed to building the house with the proceeds of crime before the demolition exercise was carried out.
Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Internal Security, Emmanuel Umar stated that the demolition would serve as a deterrent to others.
