The Registrar of the National Examination Council,NECO Professor Godswill Obioma has been killed by unknown Gunmen.
He was reportedly strangled to death in his residence in Minna,Niger State on Monday night when the armed men prowling in his compound descended on him .
His wife, Elizabeth Obioma, confirmed the incident on Tuesday morning saying “the assassins came in and killed him and left without taking anything.”
She told an online newspaper, Peoples Gazette that her husband had just returned to Minna, Niger state from Abuja when the armed men attacked him. The police is yet to speak on the incident.
The 67years old Goodwill Obioma, was appointed head of NECO on May 14, 2020.
