The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has revoked the Air Operator Certificates of Omni-Blu Aviation and Eastwind Aviation Logistics Services Limited over violations of regulatory provisions on falsification of records.

In a statement released on its X handle, the NCAA cited Part 1.2.1.5 of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig. CARs), which prohibits falsification, reproduction, or alteration of applications, licences, certificates, logbooks, reports, or records.

The authority determined that both aviation firms were in breach of these regulations, leading to the withdrawal of their operational licences.

According to Part 1.2.1.5(b) of Nig. CARs, the penalty for such infractions includes the revocation of certificates, which has now been enforced against Omni-Blu Aviation and Eastwind Aviation.

As a result, the NCAA has permanently revoked their respective Air Operator Certificates—OBA/AOC/12-15/002 for Omni-Blu Aviation and EAL/AOC/03-24/001 for Eastwind Aviation Logistics Services Limited.

The NCAA said the decisive action aligned with its ongoing efforts to uphold safety, transparency, and integrity in the Nigerian aviation sector.

The regulatory body has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining strict compliance with aviation standards to ensure passenger safety and industry credibility.
