The Southwest Zone of the National Association of Nigerian Students has condemned the Minister of State for Education Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba for purchasing a 100 million naira nomination form despite Federal Government’s insistence to meet ASUU demand.
The student body made this known through the Southwest coordinator Adegboye Olatunji at a press conference held in Ibadan.
Adegboye said it shows that the Federal Ministry of Education has no interest to ensure their resumption despite reaching 75 days now that Nigerian students have remained at home.
The students also threatened to truncate the Minister’s plan to become Nigeria’s president unless the federal government intervenes and gets them back to their classes
They also asked Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to intervene through his office and ensure they return to their various campuses
