The remains of the late Controller of Nigerian Correctional Service, Kwara State command, Adeyinka Adebayo Oyun, has been laid.
He was buried in his country home, Ipee, in Oyun Local Government Area of the state on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
The official interment was accompanied by a body of parade and 21 gun salute by the officers and men of the service in his honour.
In attendance at the occasion were dignitaries across the country, among whom were the representative of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, the Deputy Speaker Kwara State House of Assembly, Olayiwola Oyebode Ojo.
Also in attendance is the Chief Judge of Kwara State, Justice Ayodele Abiodun Adebara, Controller General of Nigerian Correctional Service, represented by Deputy Controller General of Corrections, Akinrujomu Tosin, Heads of various Armed Forces and Paramilitary Agencies within and outside the state.
The late Controller died on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
