According Charanci, “All male boarding schools should operate henceforth on daily basis and boarding schools’ students should go to schools closer to them from their homes”.

He also added that the girls’ boarding  schools will remain close for now.

According to the Commissioner, only Command’s boarding schools in the state will continue to operate on boarding basis, namely: Government Command Secondary School, Faskari, GSS Command Musawa, Government Girls Command School Barkiya and Police Command Secondary school, Mani.

Recall that the Executive Governor of the State, Rt Hon Aminu Bello Masari ordered for the closure of all schools in December, 2020 after the attack on GSSS Kankara. The state later reopened the Day Schools.
