Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced the refunds to 2020/2021 Hajj Intending Pilgrims following the cancellation of Hajj by Saudi Arabia Government.
The Executive Director of the Board Alh. Suleiman Nuhu Kuki revealed this at the formal launching of the refunds exercise in Funtua and Malumfashi Zonal Pilgrims Offices of the Board.
According to him, the Board got the approval from the State Governor Aminu Bello Masari to immediately start the refunds exercise as directed by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
He said about four hundred and fifty intending pilgrims has so far requested for a refund.
Kuki further stressed that those who wish to roll-over their deposits for (2022Hajj) can do so by signing an agreement form provided by the board.
While urging them to continue to pray for an end to the COVID19 pandemic, the Executive Director thanked them for their patience and understanding during the trial period.
