Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari, the mother of Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, has passed away.
According to a family source she died in the early hours of Sunday following a brief illness.
Hajiya Safara’u was widely regarded as a pillar of support.. and a compassionate and influential figure within her community, a close family associate said.
“She was a mother to all, known for her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering generosity. Her absence will be deeply felt.”
Another relative added, “She lived a life of humility and generosity, always ensuring that everyone around her felt cared for.”
Hajiya Safare was also the mother of Alhaji Kabir Umar Radda, the Village Head of Radda, and Hajiya Hauwa Umar Radda, the former wife of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua.
