Kano State Deputy Governor , Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna on Tuesday revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his Gawuna ward in Nassarawa Local Government area.

Accompanied by his wife Hajiya Hafsat Nasiru Gawuna and the Senator representing Kano Central Senatorial District, Sen.Ibrahim Shekarau, the Deputy Governor while performing the registration exercise said the APC as a party that open its doors for everyone,attached significance to the exercise being the foundation of political development and democratic growth.

He enjoined stakeholders of the party to ensure that old members and new ones who have attained 18 years of age are encouraged to join the APC so as to increase its support base in the State.

Gawuna also pointed out that the APC in Kano State needs to consolidate on its victory in the 2019 election,in which it won the Governorship, all the national assembly positions and majority of state assembly seats, by now drawing more to register in the exercise.

“I am confident with the way people of Kano State are aware of the laudable achievements made by Ganduje administration in the area of provision of dividends of democracy, Kano will emerge first in the registration exercise he said”.
