The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) today presented certificates of return to Kaduna State Governor-elect, Senator Uba Sani and the Deputy Governor-elect, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe.
INEC also issued certificates of return to 29 elected members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly at an event held at INEC Secretariat, Kaduna.
The opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had earlier appealed to its stakeholders and members to remain calm as the certificate presented to APC’s Uba would be retrieved through a competent court of jurisdiction.
The National Electoral Commissioner in charge of Kaduna, Plateau, Nasarawa and the FCT, Mohammed Haruna, presented the Certificates of Return to the Governor and Deputy Governor-elect while the Administrative Secretary of INEC, Kaduna State, Mohammed Ahmad Mashi, presented the Certificates of Return to the 29 elected State House of Assembly Members
