Veteran actor, Jide Kosoko has announced the birth of his latest granddaughter by his daughter and actress, Bidemi Kosoko.
Bidemi Kosoko who has been off the social scene for some time now, welcomed a bouncing baby girl in the wee hours of today, May 3, 2022.
The excited grandfather took to social media to announce the good news.
In a post on his Instagram page, Jide Kosoko asked Nigerians to rejoice with him and sought their prayers for both mother and child.
He wrote: “A big congratulations to the Kosoko and Bankole Family, as Abidek gave birth to baby girl this morning, an addition to my grand children. Join me in thanking God and prayer for mother never to witness after birth sickness. Thank you my people.”
Big sister to the new mum, Shola Kosoko while congratulating her wrote, “A big congratulations to Kosoko and Bankole’s family on our new bundle of joy as my sister @bidemi_kosoko gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. Mother and daughter are well and sound. Children are a gift from the Lord, a fruit of the womb a reward.”
However, congratulatory messages have started pouring in on Jide Kosoko’s Instagram page.
