Jason Jae, the first and interim Head of House (HoH) for Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10, has retained his crown after emerging victorious in Monday night’s intense “HoH Challenger Game.”

Jae who was appointed as interim HoH on Sunday night through nomination by fellow housemates, maintained his status by outperforming five contenders, Sultana, Dede, Kuture, Rooboy, and Bright Morgan in the newly introduced challenge.

The contest reached a nail-biting climax between Jae and Rooboy in the final stretch, but Jae secured his position with a time of 2 minutes 44 seconds, the fastest in the game, made Big Brother, to commend his swiftness and strategy.

Announcing the results on its official X handle, Big Brother Naija stated, “Jason Jae has stepped up and claimed the crown. Your new #BBNaija Head of House is ready to reign and shake things up. Let the HOH era begin!”

This year’s “10 over 10” game pattern, unveiled by show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Saturday, redefines the traditional dynamics of the HoH position. Unlike previous seasons where the HoH enjoyed immunity from eviction and access to luxurious privileges, Season 10 requires the reigning HoH to defend their title every Monday in a challenger game or risk losing it.

The twist has now raised the stakes, forcing housemates to combine social gameplay with physical agility and mental sharpness to stay ahead.
