The Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba has ordered the posting and redployment of twenty four Assistant Inspectors General of Police(AIGs) to Zonal Commands and formations.

The redeployment was contained in a statement released by the force Public Relations Officer, CP Frank MBA in Abuja on Tuesday.

According to him, the directive is in line with the IGP’s new Manpower Development Policy of the Force to further help in driving the new policing vision.

The IGP assured that the posting and redeployment of the Senior Police Officers is also targeted at improving policing services across the country and effectively responding to security threats in the country.

The posting and the redeployment of the Senior Police Officers are with immediate effect.

Below is a list of the AIGs and the formations they have been assigned.

vii. AIG ZONE 9 UMUAHIA – AIG ADELEKE ADEYINKA BODE

viii. AIG ZONE 13 UKPO-DUNUKOFIA AWKA – AIG MURI UMAR MUSA
