Igbo highlife musician, Prince Emeka Morocco Maduka is dead.
The leader of Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PMAN) in Anambra state, Ike Mazeli confirmed Emeka Morocco Maduka’s death in a Statement on Thursday, October 29.
The Statement on how Emeka Morocco Maduka died reads thus; ”With a heavy heart of sorrow…We, the entire Anambra state PMAN announce the exit of a music Legend, Dr Prince Morroco Maduka…..Ozonweluibe. He passed on this afternoon (Thursday, October 29th, 2020). All other arrangements as regards his planting to mother earth will be communicated to all of us later.”
Before Emeka Morocco’s death, the late veteran highlife musician famously known as the Ekpili music crooner, Morocco, celebrated his 60 years’ anniversary on stage on October 23 and 24, 2020, in Awka, Anambra State capital.
