Gunmen have abducted a 50-year-old woman and her teenage daughter at Yarmariya village in Tudun Wada Local Government Area of Kano State.
Sources who confirmed the development to security analyst, Zagazola Makama said the hoodlums, armed with dangerous weapons, invaded the residence of Alhaji Audu Shehu at about 1:45 a.m. on August 8, 2025, abducted his wife, Mrs Laure Audu, and 15-year-old daughter, Miss Basira Audu, and shot his 13-year-old son, Ibrahim Audu, in the left leg.
The sources said officers from Tudun Wada Division visited the scene and rushed the injured boy to the General Hospital in Tudun Wada, where he received treatment.
He added that an investigation was ongoing, with efforts being intensified to rescue the abducted victims and arrest the perpetrators.
