Okechukwu Okoye, a lawmaker representing Aguata State Constituency 1 in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Okechukwu has been abducted by gunmen.
Police spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed the abduction .
According to him, Okoye who is from Isuofia, the same community as the State Governor, Charles Soludo was kidnapped in Aguata on Sunday May 15.
He said the black Siena SUV which he was driving before the incident has been recovered and a manhunt has also been launched to free him from his abductors.
