Governor, Douye Diri, on Thursday visited some flooded communities in Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa to assess the level of damage done by flooding.
The Governor visited are Otuoke, the country home of former President Goodluck Jonathan where he met with his mother, Madam Eunice, who is equally a flood victim.

Other communities visited are Ayama- Ijaw and Azikoro.
At every community , Governor Diri assured the community of government support.
At Ayama, Governor Diri thanked INC Central Zone Chairman, Dr. Doodei Week, for converting his facility into an IDP camp.
“Those in charge of flood management should treat this place like other IDP camps”,
