Governor. Douye Diri, on friday recieved winner of Nigerian Idol, season 6, Bayelsa born, Kingdom Timi Kroseide and members of his team, at Governor’s office, Government House, Yenagoa.
Governor. Diri, thank God for making it possible, that a Bayelsans won the competition and thanked Mr. Kroseide, for making Bayelsa proud. His Excellency, in his good will offered him scholarship up to Master’s Degree, and named him “Youths Ambassador of the State”
“We thank God for making it possible for us to receive one of ours who went out there in the name of his community, and in the name of our state, in this competition, and was declared the best, and as the winner of the 2021 season of the Nigerian Idol Music Competition.
On behalf of your government and the good people Bayelsa State, we are proud of you, as you have brought honour to us as a state.
And in appreciation, I hereby announce that you will be on the scholarship of the Bayelsa State Government, as you complete your First Degree. And if you proceed to your Master’s Degree, the scholarship will be extended to your Master’s Degree.”
“You are also appointed as an ambassador of the youths of Bayelsa State.
“Let me use this opportunity to call on youths of Bayelsa State to see Mr. Timi Kingdom Kroseide as a role model; as one who out of hard work and the grace of God has brought honour to the state. I am sure that putting yourselves in legitimate careers, you would bring honour not only to yourselves but also to your state and country.”
