Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has approved the appointment of 17 Special Advisers.

The approval was contained in a statement on Tuesday.

The statement reads;

” To re-invigorate the machinery of Government and further strengthen the administration’s commitment to delivering on it’s promises and enhancing good governance, His Excellency, Sen. Bala A. Mohammed CON, Fnipr (Kauran Bauchi) the Executive Governor of Bauchi State has approved the appointment of distinguished, highly accomplished and dedicated professionals to serve as his Special Advisers to provide guidance and support in key areas of Government operations.

“The appointees are expected to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to bear on their respective roles with a view to ensuring that the state government can effectively address the diverse needs of it’s citizens.”

The newly appointed Special Advisers and their respective portfolios are as follows:

1- Dr. Ahmed Adamu Chiroma-
Special Adviser, Chief Security Adviser, Security

2- Hon. Bakoji Aliyu Bobby – Special Adviser, State& National Assembly liaison

3- Mr. Abdon D. Gin – Special Adviser,
Civil Service matters

4- Hajiya Zainab A.D Rufa’i- Special Adviser NGO’s

5- Hon. Adamu Manu Soro- Special Adviser, Housing

6- Dr. Asmau Ahmed Giade- Special Adviser, Culture & Tourism

7- Hashimu Yakubu Kumbala – Special Adviser, General Service & Administration

8- Senator Mohammed Bello – Special Adviser, Multilateral Services

9- Hon. Isa Babayo Tilde- Special Adviser,
Local Government Affairs

10- Engr Mahmood Abubakar -Special Adviser, Engineering & Projects

11-Shehu Wadaji – Special Adviser, Pilgrims Affairs

12- Monica Musa- Special Adviser,
Poverty Alleviation

13- Surv. Yohanna Yashi- Special Adviser,
Lands & Survey

14-Dr. Iliyasu Aliyu Gital- Special Adviser,
Agriculture

15- Adamu Babayo Gabarin- Special Adviser, Health

16- Alh. Abdullahi Bello Badejo- Special Adviser, Farmers & Herders Matters

17- Adamu Zakari- Special Adviser, Education

The statement said the appointments take immediate effect.
